This unique dwelling is pure utopia. The location is the largest mountain corridor between four countries where wildlife can pass without encountering mankind. It is a rare oak forest teaming with resplendent quetzals (the sacred Shaman bird of the Mayans), tapirs, mountain lions, panthers and more.

The elevation is 8,000 feet. Average temperature 65 during the day and 47 at night.

The panoramic view is of 17 mountain peaks including Chirripo, the highest peak in Costa Rica and on clear days, the Pacific Ocean. The area is popular with extreme adventure mountain bikers, hiking trekkers, rock climbers, paragliding, horseback riding and wildlife adventures.

The charming forest cabin comes with a chimney and wood burning stove and an electric eco-heating device. There is a rare magnolia wood entry door and oak hardwood floors. Rare black and green bamboo cover the walls and ceiling throughout the house.

The cabin features a main king size bed with orthopedic mattress and a daybed couch along a beautiful window view and an upstairs loft. There is a beautiful stone bathroom with an exotic crystal rock Balinese sink and Italian tiles. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas stove and custom made wood stove.

Beautiful sliding glass doors opening to the spectacular view and there\'s a sky-light atop the master bed for stargazing. The cabin features unique lighting throughout, including a lamp of exotic Brazilian indigo colored lighting leaves from the Tree of Life.

The cabin is located 25 minutes from the second largest city in Costa Rica, San Isidro de General and 1.5 hours from the beautiful beaches of the Costa Ballena. San Isidro has a local Airport with flights of 20 minutes in time from the international airport in San Jose. Driving time to San Jose from the cabin is appx. 2 hours.

There are two water sources: a spring on the property and fresh pure mountain water from the local Asada, possibly the best water you can find anywhere in the country.
